Released under the pseudonym Kwaing Creasite to highlight a darker element to Kenny Anderson - aka fife singer/songwriter King Creosote's songwriting, Red On Green emerged in 2004 on the Fence label. Though ostensibly released under a different name, the hallmarks of Anderson's songwriting are all there, a knack for melodic ear-worms coupled with a refreshing honesty in deliverance. Red On Green offers an oblique view at the King Creosote universe however, one that is populated with ominous notes and shadow.
